I would never imagine that i would go to Africa this year but sometimes life surprises you in great ways! I was lucky enough to go on a two week tour with Real Moroccan tours with two of my sisters around the intriguing country, Morocco. After traveling around Europe this year I must admit it was a bit of culture shock. But I always remind myself like every traveler should that “It is not worse or better it is just different.” Morocco is full of traditional art forms and unique designs and it reinforced in me the importance of quality. I am excited to share with you a taste of Africa.
Are we in Greece!? This is the small charming city Chefchaouen or ‘The Blue City.’
Coincidentally my scarf went perfect with the backdrop!
A natural tannery in Fes. They work extremely hard in harsh conditions and produce the finest quality leather.
Wearing a traditional caftan, they are extremely comfortable and perfect for the hot climate.
A traditional nomads house in the Sahara desert. Seeing things like this really puts life into perspective.
What does everyone think… can i pull of the traditional nomad look!?
I feel in love with Moroccan decor, it is full of geometrical designs and vibrant colours, what’s not to love?
Local craftsmen hand cutting tiles to make mosaics.
Brightly coloured natural medicine.
Wearing a Zara crop top my beautiful friend Vivi gave me and a cute skirt I got from Mallorca.
HENNA- made from a plant based paste.
A big thankyou to my big sister Sharnie for making this trip happen!
Besos xx
