What a busy year so far! I have been so occupied with moving to Sydney, settling into college and starting university I haven’t had time to share with you. I am now settled into life in Sydney and ready to get back into blogging. I am studying a double degree in Fine/Arts at UNSW in Sydney and really enjoying it so far. Cannot wait to show you some of the projects I do in fine arts.

Here is a sneak peek into fashion week in Sydney! It was so much fun to spend time with my Mum and do something we both enjoy! We went to a makeup seminar, hosted by Ruby Rose showing Maybellines latest products and then saw a runway of the best looks for this upcoming season. My highlight was seeing one of my favourite fashion bloggers and inspirations Gary Pepper girl! She was so lovely and stunning as always.

MELBOURNE!

A fun two day trip to Melbourne to do some shopping and check out The University of Melbourne for my twin sister. I love the vibe in Melbourne, it is a city full of energy, rad street art and people who aren’t afraid to dress differently. We spent day one doing everything we could possibly fit in before heading to the university the following day. We started with some of the BEST coffee i’ve ever had in Degraves lane and then we set off shopping! We both needed jeans so we ticked that off at General pants  & co with a pair of Ksubi jeans each. I then fell in love with a pair of shoes… Windsor Smith ‘chunk’ heels! I knew I had to get them but everywhere we went did not have size 6!! (Damn my tiny feet.) So we decided to take a lunch break and headed to Brunswick street to check out ‘The Veggie Bar.’ It had a very cool atmosphere, I tried my first green smoothie and unfortunately was not a fan! However the food was fun, fresh and healthy so I do recommend people to try it out for themselves! We discovered some cool stores in Brunswick and managed to buy a dress and a top. After refueling we again headed of on the hunt for the Windsors’ we decided to head to Chapel street where there is an actual Windsor Smith store. Well and behold they had plenty of size 6 shoes left…hooray! A short but sweet trip to one of my favourite cities in the world, Melbourne!

Wearing white on white! It was a bit chilly in Melbourne so i opted for a long sleeve top but I knew it would be warm soon (classic four seasons in one day Melbourne) so the sheer fabric of the top came in handy!

Christmas Cheer

It was so special to see the Christmas markets in Europe and experience a part of the festive season in a cold climate!  A lot of people overseas said to me “How can Australia have Christmas when it’s SUMMER?” Well for us it is completely normal to send out Christmas cards with snowmans even though it is 40 degrees outside! Here are a few snaps of my Christmas this year. It included a big lunch outside in the sun surrounded by beautiful Christmas decorations made by my older sister, Sharnie. I wore a casual jumpsuit by Motel Rocks which I bought at last years boxing day sales in Melbourne (sad I didn’t get there this year!) Hope you all had a lovely Christmas!

Paris is always a good idea…

This is my second time in Paris but It still managed to take my breathe away with its beauty. From the elegant buildings to the smell of freshly baked croissants, Paris is bound to make you fall in love with her. I was so lucky to spend five days there with my beautiful boyfriend’s family, who are like my second family. We stayed in an apartment literally 400M away from the Eiffel Tower! It was beautiful and at night time you could see the sparkles from the lit Eiffel Tower dance all over our apartment building. I managed to do everything in Paris that I didn’t get to do last time! I went on a cruise at night time along the Seine River, visited the Louvre and Museo D’Orsay, climbed the Eiffel tower and went to Montmartre (by far my favourite place in Paris!) I’ve always dreamed of going to Paris, and reality was somehow even better then my dreams…

Milano,Italy

Branded as one of the shopping capitals of the world, Milan definitely lived up to its expectations! Not only is it a shoppers’ heaven but it also has the architecture to go with it! Duomo cathedral is incredible with the most amazing atmosphere, out of ALL the cathedrals I have seen in Europe this year, this one is the best! The people in Milan are generally very fashionable. And like many celebrities they accessorise their look with a ball of fluff! (Dog and owner.) Not only is there endless stores of luxurious clothes but the top brands have now expanded even into coffee! If you can’t afford a Gucci handbag you can pop into the Gucci cafe and have a 5 euro (8 Australian dollar) latte or buy furniture from Armani House (A bit more on the expensive side!)

Exeter Christmas Ball.

The time has come to leave Spain and start my next adventure. I am so sad to leave behind my Olivia, but thankful for the time I got to spend with this beautiful little girl. I am now in Exeter, England staying with my boyfriend. On Saturday night we attended a Christmas ball at his university, a great opportuntity to dress up! I choose to wear a black Zara playsuit with lace detailing at the top paired with brown Tony Bianco shoes. For my hair I had a braid that went into a simple side ponytail and I topped off this look with red lipstick to give it an overall WOW factor.

BARCELONA!

I have been to Barcelona two times now and every time I go I find something else to love about it! I feel as if Gaudi (extremely unique and brilliant architecture) has created an ever lasting impression on the city with its amazing layout and ever lasting arty ways.

Image

Strolling the magical streets, wearing Vera & Lucy. A dress my twin sister sister bought in France. I love the geometric design and it is perfect for summer because you just chuck it on and know it will look great!

Image

Admiring one of Gaudi’s masterpieces.

Image

The masterpiece itself…The Sagrada Familia. After 150 years of construction it is said to be complete in 2026, 100 years after Gaudi passed away.

It was truly a dream come true to see Gaudi’s buildings in person after learning about them! They are crazy, beautiful and unique and i see something different every time i visit.

It was a must to introduce two of my sisters to Spanish seafood Paella and Sangria !

This time for Africa!

I would never imagine that i would go to Africa this year but sometimes life surprises you in great ways! I was lucky enough to go on a two week tour with Real Moroccan tours with two of my sisters around the intriguing country, Morocco. After traveling around Europe this year I must admit it was a bit of culture shock. But I always remind myself like every traveler should that “It is not worse or better it is just different.” Morocco is full of traditional art forms and unique designs and it reinforced in me the importance of quality. I am excited to share with you a taste of Africa.

Image

Are we in Greece!? This is the small charming city Chefchaouen or ‘The Blue City.’

Image

Coincidentally my scarf went perfect with the backdrop!
